Forgiveness and acceptance are a way of setting yourself free. Stop yourself from holding on to the past and move into the future. Accept yourself with unconditional compassion and love yourself for who you are.

MORAL VALUE

It teaches us that forgiveness leads to feelings of understanding, empathy and compassion for the one who hurt us. Forgiveness doesn’t mean forgetting the harm done to you or making up with the person who caused the harm. Forgiveness brings a kind of peace that helps you go on with life. So learn how to do so.
At the same time, it reminds us how valuable our relationship with our family is. It shows us how much our mistakes as a member of that family affect the rest, how much it strains the relationship we have with them, and how much damage it can do to our emotional and mental health. It makes us see that we need to think before we act. We need to see the consequences when we decide to do such things for us to be able to prevent damaging our relationship with our one and only family.

The impact of the story on me as a 21st Century Learner
As a 21st-century learner, this story impacted me and taught me that forgiveness and acceptance are choices that must be made, as well as something that must be done. No matter how great a mistake is, as a person, you should learn to let go of that grudge that has been eating you up and locking you down. Though it may take some time, you must complete it because failing to do so does you no good and is detrimental to your health.
These moral values lead to a happy and contented life, so while we are on this subject, here are some steps to help you achieve it.
